Yahtzee is actually a dice game which was invented by Hasbro but was implemented by Milton Bradley. It was first marketed by Edwin. S. Lowe who was famous game entrepreneur in 1956. He marketed this product as a part of his final dissertation of his MBA course but soon this game became a big hit.
The concept of the game is that there are five dice and this has to be rolled to get a specific combination. There are thirteen combinations and one can roll at the most three times in a single turn. Now before playing the combination is decided at the beginning, the same combination cannot be used in the next turns.

A combination of any five consecutive numbers is called straight for example a combination of 1-2-3-4-5 is called a small straight and 2-3-4-5-6 is called a large straight.
